2 Oct – They never call it quits! Just after the wrap of Genius Parade's second film, "Syirik" recently, the prolific filmmaking duo M. Subash and Surenthar are eyeing a third project, a drama called "Jomlah C.I.U.M". To our surprise, they are even offering some acting roles in their upcoming project to Cinema Online writers!
As to what brings them to such bold decision, the actor-director Subash explained: "As filmmakers, we should be creative and daring enough to come out with fresh ideas and approaches. Acting talent can come from anywhere, even from the media! So what's wrong with approaching them for our film? Of course, some people might see this effort as a shallow decision from us but Surenthar (producer) and I have done a lot of thinking for this.
It's about time for us to introduce new faces to the film scene, which could lead to a new perspective in the local scene. The film, which will see Subash himself leading the line-up, is currently in the pre-production phase. The movie is to shoot after this Hari Raya break somewhere on the East Coast.
